Mixing fluid mechanics with circus: how the performing arts can enhance learning in an undergraduate engineering course
In 2021, suffering from a pandemic induced online teaching overdose, Luigia Brandimarte, an esteemed Associate Professor and Docent in Hydraulic Engineering, decided to reach out to the Department of Circus at Stockholm University of the Arts (SKH). The resulting collaboration has been recognized at KTH, helping her win the 2022 KTH Pedagogical Prize. Now, an article about the collaboration, written by Luigia Brandimarte together with Alisan Funk and Benjamin Richter, both at SKH, has been published in the European Journal of Engineering Education.
