Subsurface water-system role under climate and land-use changes
This project aims at resolving how subsurface water quantity-availability and quality interact with climate and land-use changes, and with surface water systems and their conditions and changes. The main project hypothesis is that the subsurface water system plays an important role in regulating the latter. Project results are expected to advance our ability to interpret, model and predict coupled subsurface-surface changes across geographic locations and scales.
